University of Tampa Statement on COVID-19

The UT Emergency Operations Team (EOT) met today to focus on planned events and activities on the UT campus during the COVID-19 outbreak. We are aware of the concerns and added stress of participation in these engagements that are a part of campus life, and we want to balance this with the best available health and safety information.
 
The EOT will meet regularly to determine which events, meetings and activities will continue, be postponed, be cancelled or move online. We will endeavor to review them in two-week time frames – starting March 16 -- recognizing that some engagements outside of that time frame will require more expedient review.
 
UT has hundreds of meetings, activities and events weekly. Please check the master calendar on ut.edu for event status, contact the event organizer or check the UT COVID-19 webpage.
 
Athletic games will continue as normally scheduled. However, only family members will be allowed to view athletic matches live as spectators.
