Bio

Alejandro Arenas is in his sixth year as an assistant athletic trainer after previously serving two years as an athletic training intern at the University of Tampa. 

Arenas is a certified sports nutritionist through the ISSN. He is also a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and certified in CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider Standard First Aid. He is also fluent in English and Spanish.

He is currently working towards a doctorate in health and human performance from Concordia University, Chicago. Arenas is a 2015 graduate of Rowan University in Glassboro, N.J. where he graduated with a bachelor's degree while majoring in athletic training. He also earned his masters in exercise science and nutritional sciences from the University of Tampa.
