Bio

As a Junior: Appeared in 23 games on the mound for Tampa…Concluded the season with a 3.96 ERA over 36.1 innings with a record of 4-1... Racked up six saves and retired 53 batters... Allowed no triples this season... In fourteen appearances he had multi-strike outs… Chucked three shutout innings against Wayne State (3/11)…  Retired five batters against Florida Tech (3/5)… Wayne State (3/11)… Minnesota State (6/1)…  He struck out six batters against Palm Beach Atlantic (4/13)… Appeared in two NCAA Tournament Contests... Allowed only one earned run and punched out five batters. 

As a Sophomore (ULL): Attended the University of Louisiana in Lafayette, where he served as the closer for two seasons…Led the team with six saves, where he was fifth in the Sun Belt Conference in the category…Was 3-4 with a 2.52 ERA while pitching 35.2 innings with 41 strikeouts…Gave up just 25 hits as opposing batters hit just .202 versus the righthander. 

As a Freshman (ULL): Led the Ragin’ Cajuns in saves with five…Posted a 1-0 record with a 1.86 ERA in 25.2 innings to go with 14 strikeouts…Opposition hit just .238 against him.

High School: Attended DeQuincy High School for freshman, sophomore and senior seasons...Played junior season at Bridge City (Texas) High School...Earned first team all-district 21-3A honors and ranked as the 30th best player in Texas...Moved back to Louisiana in summer 2009 and finished his career at DeQuincy....Finished the season 9-1 on the mound and hit above .400...Named first team all-district, first team all-Southwest Louisiana and first team all-state... Was rated a perfect score of 10 from Perfect Game and was No. 9 on the Perfect Game Rawlings top prospect list…Played club baseball for Acadiana Cane Cutters…Chosen to play in various tournaments with Texas Sun Devils…Also played football at DeQuincy...In senior season, finished the regular season with 61 receptions for 1,061 yards (school record) and scored 15 touchdowns…First-team all-state in football.
