Saints Secure Game One Over Spartans
The University of Tampa baseball team battled Flagler College and dropped the first game of the series with the Saints.
TAMPA, Fla. - The No. 2 University of Tampa baseball team traveled to St. Augustine to take on the No. 17 ranked Flagler College and were defeated 4-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Vin Cosenzo started out the fifth inning on a triple to right center. Andrew DiLacqua came up to the plate and got out at first base, scoring Cosenzo, and putting the Spartans up 1-0. In the bottom of the fifth inning the Saints scored two runs, one of them being a homer to left field. Flagler led 2-1 heading into the sixth.
- J.D. Osborne homered to left field in the top of the seventh to make the score 2-3.
- The bottom of the seventh brought another run across the plate for the Saints that would be the last run scored of the game, Flagler went on to win 4-2 over the Spartans.
INSIDE THE STATS:
- Danny Lee went 2-4.
- Cosenzo was 2-4 with one triple.
- Osborne went 1-3 with one RBI.
