Tampa Slips Five Spots In Latest NABC Poll
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The University of Tampa men's basketball team moved down five spots in the NABC/Division II men's basketball rankings, coming in at No.21 in Tuesday's release.
Last week, the Spartans were positioned in the
No. 16 spot, as this is the fifth consecutive week that Tampa has
appeared in the national poll.
Head coach Richard Schmidt's Spartan's are coming off two
consecutive losses to tough Sunshine State Conference opponents;
Barry and Florida Tech. With a total of three losses on the season,
the Spartans are now ranked third in the SSC (6-3) and hold an
impressive overall record of 17-3.
UT is back in action on Wednesday in Winter Park, Fla. as they face
Rollins College at 7:30 p.m. The Spartans conclude the week on
Saturday at home against Lynn University in a 4:00 p.m. battle.
