HOW IT HAPPENED:
First Half:
The Spartans started the first half on the back foot, but Alex Hare was able to come up with 3 impressive saves in the first 20 minutes. Following a calm start, both teams leaned into the physical side of the game with 5 fouls being called on each.

Second Half:
The physicality ramped up an extra notch when the teams came out for the second half with both understanding the importance of a top 10 matchup. Neither team was able to find a rhythm with the ball, but both were able to create pressure at times despite struggling to find shots on target.
