HOW IT HAPPENED:
First Half:
The Spartans were able to generate several chances in the opening 45 minutes, getting pressure in the attacking third. Their movement and possession in midfield often forced the defense to scramble. There were notable build-up plays out wide and a few half‑chances in the box, though they couldn't find the breakthrough before halftime.
Score: 0-0
Second Half:
Tampa came out more aggressively in the second half, trying to push the pace. They kept pressure high, directing plays through their wings and attempting crosses into the box. At times, they were able to force turnovers and maintain possession in the attacking third, but defensive solidity from the Mocs held firm. Late in the match, Tampa increased urgency with offensive surges, but could not convert the chances.
Final Score: 0-0
