Riihijarvi Continues Steady Play as UT Sixth at Lady Panther Invite
Tampa concludes regular season against notable SSC opponents.
VIERA, Fla. – The University of Tampa women's golf team ended its regular season with a sixth-place finish at the Lady Panther Invitational, which was hosted by Sunshine State Conference opponent Florida Tech.

OTHER NOTABLES:
• For the fifth straight competition, freshman Riihijarvi led all Spartan golfers. She shot rounds of 76, 74 and 76 and finished at +10.
• Riihijarvi tallied the top three rounds for the Spartans.
• Tampa did not register any individual competitors.
• UT's top four golfers were all freshman.
• Olson had her top individual performance as she finished second among all Spartans.
• Saint Leo's Marie Coors was the medalist as she shot a three-round score of 209.
• A total of eight teams competed.
• In addition to UT, also representing the Sunshine State Conference were Nova Southeastern (1), Saint Leo (2), Florida Tech (4) and Eckerd (8).
UP NEXT:
With the regular season complete, UT returns to action on April 22-25 at the 2017 Sunshine State Conference Championships. The three-round event will be played at the Country Club of Winter Haven in Winter Haven, Fla.
