TAMPA, Fla. — The University of Tampa women's soccer team earned a key Sunshine State Conference win with a 2–1 comeback victory over Florida Tech on Saturday evening at Pepin Stadium.

How It Happened
The visiting Panthers struck first midway through the opening half, taking a 1–0 lead in the 34th minute on a goal from Isabelle Bromage. Tampa generated chances but entered halftime trailing after four first-half shots and a pair of corners.
The Spartans came out energized in the second half and broke through in the 66th minute when Kaylee Gibson netted the equalizer, finishing a setup from Zoe Whiddon to make it 1–1. Just eight minutes later, Tampa took the lead for good when defender Lauren Holschauer headed home a cross from Ally Wold in the 74th minute to give UT a 2–1 advantage.
Tampa's defense locked down the remainder of the match, limiting Florida Tech to just three second-half shots. Goalkeeper Lia Doohan made three saves—including two key stops in the first half—to preserve the win.
