As a Junior: D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award... At the 2021 Shark Invitational, Hixenbaugh recorded season top times in the 100Y backstroke (59.82), 200Y backstroke (2:05.90), 400Y individual medley (4:32.83) and a season top time in the 200Y individual medley (2:08.71) at the Florida State VS North Florida, Tampa meet.

As a Sophomore: D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award...SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Three-time 2020 SSC Finalist in the 400 Yard IM, 200 Yard Back, and 100 Yard Back. Recorded top times in the 100 Yard Back (58.04), 200 Yard Back (2:01.68), 200 Yard IM (2:05.43), and the 400 Yard IM (4:24.34).

As a Freshman: Recorded top times in the 100 Yard Back (58.26), 200 Yard Back (2:03.13), and 400 Yard IM (4:28.52) at the 2019 SSC Championships.

High School: Graduated from Ballard High School, where she was coached by Brad Hultz...Was team captain and four-year letter winner...Academic All-State four years, and holds school records in 100 Breast, Women's 200 Yard Medley Relay, Women's 200 Yard Free Relay...was Valedictorian and College Board AP Scholar...Also swam for Cardinal Aquatics under coach Chip Augustus and Plainview Swim and Dive Team under coach Kevin Morgan...Recorded top times in 100 Yard Breast -(1:07.25), 200 Yard Breast - (2:23.85), 200 Yard IM - (2:08.29), 400 Yard IM - (4:33.63), and 200 Yard Free - (1:55.38)
