As a Freshman: Wrapped up her first year with an overall personal best time in the 200Y backstroke (2:06.91) at the Tampa VS Nova Southeastern meet, as well as season-best times in the 200Y individual medley (2:09.52), 400Y individual medley (4:36.08) at the 2021 Shark Invitational.

High School: Graduated Cum Lade from Cherry Hill High School East...Swam under head coach Anita Bowser…All-American...Broke the 200 medley relay and 400 free relay school record…All-South Jersey honoree. 

Personal: Daughter of Steven and Kristina Merch...Criminology and criminal justice major...Law, justice, and advocacy minor...Volunteered with the Miracle League…During the club season, she swam for the South Jersey Aquatic Club under coach Pete Holcroft…Birthdate: 01/16/2002.
