Bio

Robin Hochguertel, a 2015 graduate from Lenoir-Rhyne University, is in his fourth year as a volunteer assistant coach after spending two years as the graduate assistant coach of the women’s tennis team at the University of Tampa. He played four years of collegiate tennis and is originally from Germany.

Robin was the team captain at LRU, received his bachelor’s degree in management and is currently enrolled in the John H. Sykes College of Business at UT. He will graduate with his MBA in May of 2017.

Robin is a certified tennis professional by the German Tennis Federation, with over 8+ years of coaching and teaching experience. He has coached and mentored players all over the world, conducted a wide variety of private lessons and prepared players for tournaments.

As a fierce competitor, he has a passion for coaching and is looking to continue his path in the sport of collegiate tennis and push players to the next level in tennis and life.
