Bio

As a Sophomore: She competed in the 600M, the 800M, and the 1500M for the Spartans... Finished second in 600M at the Embry-Riddle First Chance-Last Chance (2/18) recording her college best time of 1:49.07... She also logged her college best at the 2017 UT Track Classic (3/3) where she finished the 1500M with a time of 5:10.34... She finished the season competing in the USF Invitational (4/21) where she ran her fastest time of the season in the 800M at 2:30.75.

As a Freshman: Competed in the 800M for the Spartans... At the Florida DII Intercollegiate Invitational (4/16) she ran her college best finishing second with a time of 2:22.73.

High School: Attended Gilmour Academy, where she was coached by Matt Lindley, James Chappelle and Jeff Klein… Won coaches award for cross country (2011, 2014) and lancer award for track (2015)… Was captain of cross country and track 2014-2015… Competed in Ohio Cross country state meet (2011-14) and was team runner up in 2013… Ran at Ohio Indoor Track and Field state meet (2012-15) and Ohio Outdoor Track and Field state meet (2012-15) in 4x800 and 4x400. 

Personal: Was an Academic All Ohio six times…Daughter of Bob and Megan Whetstone…Has two younger siblings, Ethan and Lauren… International business and accounting major… Born June 23.
