First Set: Tampa would get out to a fast start, but the first set would be tight for most of it. Tampa trailed by just one point towards the end of the set. A service error by SF State would tie the game up at 21, with Tampa going on to score the next four points to clinch the set. | Score: 25-21 Tampa
Second Set: The Spartans fell behind early. The team found itself trailing midway through the first set 16-10, but would fight back. A block by Gregg and Laney Perdue kick-started a comeback as the team went on to tally five consecutive points to trail 16-14.
