HOW IT HAPPENED: 

First Set: Tampa and Palm Beach played a tight first set throughout until the Spartans scored five of the set's final six points to win the set. Jenna Davis recorded a kill to ignite the run making it 21-19. Back to back kills by Tess Schrenger that were assisted by Kayla Dondero edged the Spartans closer to a first set victory. Schrenger added another and senior Nathaly Perez tallied the last one to end the set. | Score: 25-20 Tampa

Second Set: UTampa jumped out to a sizeable lead in the second set after an ace from middle blocker, Rachel Gregg. The service ace put Tampa ahead 10-3 and the spartans would continue to add to its lead. Ana Rivera added another Spartan ace making it 14-7 and Connor Rahn would produce back to back kills as Tampa would find a set two victory. | Score 25-18 Tampa

Third Set: Much like the previous set, Tampa grabbed momentum in the set and took advantage. A Gregg kill made it 14-6. Olivia Guzman notched a kill making it 23-12 and Maddie Sofarelli would tally a kill as well to earn the Spartans a match point. Tampa finished out the match following a service error by PBA. | Score 25-15 Tampa
