Women's Cross Country Leads Conference Schools at Florida State Open
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The University of Tampa women's cross country team registered a 12th-place showing at the Florida State University Cross Country Open.

- Anna Sentner | 54th overall, 22:37.1
- Aspen Gordon | 89th overall, 23:20.4
- Sydney Rhodes | 120th place, 23:49.1
- Eva DeMarco | 128th place, 23:55.1
OTHER NOTABLES:
- Jarvis was the top Spartan for the third straight week as she also ranked second among Division II performers and first in the Sunshine State Conference.
- DeMarco, a freshman, appeared in the Tampa top five for the first time in her collegiate career.
- A total of 29 teams competed.
- Head coach Jarrett Slaven had 10 runners compete in the race.
- UT was second among NCAA Division II schools as fellow South Region opponent Lee University was sixth overall.
- Joining Tampa from the SSC were Lynn (15), Florida Southern (20), Nova Southeastern (21) and Palm Beach Atlantic (23).
UP NEXT:
The Spartans travel to the Pre-Nationals on Saturday, October 2. The race will take place at The Abbey Course in St. Leo, Fla.
