TICKET PUNCHED: UT Women Advance to NCAA Championships
LAKELAND, Fla. – The University of Tampa women's cross country team needed a top-three team finish to advance from the 2022 NCAA Division II South Region Championships, as the Spartans were successful in their quest to move to the finals.

- Emma Skinner | 27th overall, 22:29.6

OTHER NOTABLES:
- Capel, Moreno and Gordon were recognized on the all-championships team for their finishes in the race.
- Head coach Logan Wells registered seven runners in the event.
- Also competing for UT were Tabitha Suggs and Katelyn Deitrick.
- Registering new personal best times for Tampa were Capel, Moreno, Skinner, Kwiatkowski, Suggs and Deitrick.
- Johanna Wistokat from Christian Brothers was the individual champion with a time of 21:21.7.
- Lee, Palm Beach Atlantic and Tampa each advance to the 2022 NCAA Division II National Championships.
- Tampa advances to the championships for the 15th time in program history, and its first since 2019.
