The HOKA + Nights of Thunder Cross Country Fest brought a high-energy atmosphere to Tallahassee as athletes raced under the lights in prime early-season conditions. Florida A&M senior Tara Bert took the individual crown in 18:37.70, surging away in the final kilometer to secure the win. Behind her, Florida Southern claimed the team title with 30 points, led by Grace Reed in 3rd at 19:00.36; Georgia Southern finished second with 60 points, paced by Elizabeth Stamey in 2nd at 18:45.57; and Tampa earned third with 64 points, spearheaded by Ellie Stabnik in 6th at 19:20.59. The Spartans showed impressive depth with three athletes inside the top 12, establishing themselves as one of the top Division II squads in the region.
