Tampa Finishes in Top-10 at Lewis Invitational
ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - The University of Tampa women's team had a standout performance at the Lewis Crossover Invitational, finishing 7th overall out of 36 teams in one of the most competitive Division II fields in the country.
The Spartans defeated two nationally ranked teams, #10 Augustana (S.D.) and #11 Minnesota State Mankato, solidifying their position among the nation's elite. The team demonstrated remarkable depth, with all five scoring runners finishing within less than a minute of each other. This performance highlights Tampa's potential as the postseason approaches.
