HOW IT HAPPENED: GAME 1
- E.J. Doskow opened up the scoring for the Spartans in the bottom half of the first that scored Jordan Lala | 1-0 Spartans.
- The Eagles would answer right back in the next two innings and take the lead in the third | 2-1 Eagles.
- The Spartans would put up seven runs in the bottom half of the third, led by a Danny Gutcher single that scored two | 8-2 Spartans.
- Another big inning for the Spartans in the fourth, with five runs scored. Which included a three-run home run from Gutcher | 13-2 Spartans.
- E.J. Cumbo hit his third home run of the year, that plated three more for the Spartans | Final: 16-2 Spartans.
