As a Junior (UT)

• Enrolled at the University of Tampa, competing for the Spartans in the spring 2023 semester.
• Set a school record in the 500 Free at Florida State (1/27) with a second-place time of 4:19.96.
• Part of SSC and Championships Meet record in 800 Free with time of 6:26.31 at SSC Championships (2/15).
• Runner-up at SSC Championships (2/16) in 200 IM with time of 1:46.41.
• Established new meet record and school record at SSC Championships (2/17) in 400 IM with winning time was 3:45.75.
• SSC champion (2/18) in the 200 Fly with a new school and SSC meet record time of 1:45.18.
• Shattered the SSC Championships (2/19) and meet record in the 200 Back and also set a school record at 1:43.36.
• Champion of 400 Free Relay at 2:54.98, setting a new meet record at SSC Championships (2/19).
• National runner-up at NCAA Championships (3/7) in 800 Free Relay with time of 6:22.52.
• Set school record in 800 Free Relay leadoff at NCAA Championships (3/7).
• Third-place finish and school record at NCAA Championships (3/8) in the 200 IM with time of 1:45.48.
• NCAA Championships (3/8) ninth-place finish in the Men's 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:27.23.

At Florida State

• Competed at Florida State University in 2020-21 season.
• Was a relay swimmer at the NCAA Championships,  swimming on the 800 Free Relay.
• Placed 10th in the 500 Free (4:18.74) and was 18th in the 200 Fly (1:45.46) at the ACC Championships.
• Also competed in the 400 IM (3:53.97) and was a part of the 800 Free Relay that placed eighth.
• Joined the team in January of 2021.
• Made his debut against No. 22 Auburn, where he won the 500 Free at 4:27.86 and was also the runner-up in the 200 Free at 1:38.96.
• Also finished third in the 400 IM at 4:00.51.
• Won the 500 free (4:28.46), took third in the 200 IM (1:51.58), and second in the 200 Fly (1:50.67) against Tampa.

At Florida

• At the University of Florida, was a member of the 2018 SEC Championship-winning team, scoring points in all three of his events.
• Finished 18th in the 500 Free with a career-best time of 4:18.57.
• Placed 23rd in the 1,650 Free with another career-best time of 15:19.74.
• Totaled two individual wins during the season.
• Posted B-cut times in the 200 Free (1:37.06), 500 Free (4:18.57), 1,650 Free (15:19.74), 200 Back (1:45.08), 200 IM (1:48.17) and 400 IM (3:54.49).

High School

• Graduated from Bishop Verot High School.
• Swam for coach Mac Kennedy.
• Participated in the 2017 Speedo Junior National Championships, competing in the 200 Free, 400 Free and 400 IM.
• Top finish came in the 400 Free, where he placed 12th with a time of 3:59.45.
• Three-time FHSAA State Champion in the 500 Free (2014, 2015 and 2016).
• 2016 FHSAA 1A State Champion in the 200 IM (1:47.63).
• Two-time News Press Swimmer of the Year.
• Member of the Colombian National Team.
• Also competed for Swim Florida.
• 5-time state champion.
• Represented Colombia at the 2019 Pan American Games in the 200 Free, 400 Free, 200 IM, and 400 IM.
• Top results came in the 400 Free and 400 IM, qualifying for the A Final and placed 8th.
