Mackenzie Dufresne Earns SSC Player of the Week honors
TAMPA, Fla. - Mackenzie Dufresne earns SSC Player of the Week honors for the first time this season and second overall in her career.
Dufresne takes Offensive Player of the Week with a .595 hitting percentage across a pair of conference road wins last week. She tallied match-highs with 17 kills and seven blocks in a four-set victory at Florida Tech. The middle blocker from Tarpon Springs, Florida, followed with seven kills, two blocks, two assists, and an ace in a sweep of Rollins. The senior averaged 3.43 kills and 1.29 blocks per set for the week, hitting near .600 with 24 total kills in 37 attempts and only two errors. The weekly award is the second of her career.
