As a Junior: CCA second-team All-American...CCA first-team all-South Region...First-team all-Sunshine State Conference...Appeared in 46 games and started in 43 games in his first season with the Spartans…Recorded 66 hits in 178 at-bats to compile a .371 batting average…Had 29 extra base hits, including 15 doubles, one triple, and 13 homeruns…Drove in 53 runs, while coming around to score 42 times…Drew 24 walks and only struck out 24 times in 178 plate appearances...Hit back-to-back home runs on two occasions, 16-3 victory over Flagler (3/4) and a 7-4 win over Tusculum (4/9)... As a Freshman (FSU): Played at Florida State University...Made 56 appearances including 25 starts at three combined positions – first base (18), third base (5) and designated hitter (2)…Hit .282 in his first season good for the fourth best average among players with at least 25 starts and the best mark among Seminole freshmen…Collected 31 hits in 110 at-bats with seven doubles, one home run, 16 runs and 16 RBI…Recorded a season-high three hits against Jacksonville (Feb. 24)…Drove in a season-high two RBI five times – Jacksonville (Feb. 24), South Florida (March 4), at NC State (April 2), Coastal Carolina (May 1) and at Louisville (May 10)…Put together a season-best hitting streak of eight straight game from Georgia (Feb. 21) to South Florida (March 4)…Started the season making 16 straight starts at first base…Finished his freshman campaign making four consecutive starts at third base…Connected on his first collegiate home run against the Dolphins at home…Ranked second on the team with four pinch hits…Matched his season average hitting .282 in 26 league games…Posted a .231 batting average in five games, four starts, during FSU’s run to a berth in the NCAA Super Regionals.

High School: Graduated from Key West High School, where he was coached by former UT player Miguel Menendez...Four-time All-Monroe County Team (2010-14)...Played baseball all four years for the Conchs varsity team and one year of football…As a freshman, led the team in home runs (4) and RBI (36)…Named the team’s Rookie of the Year…In 2012, garnered Defensive Player of the Year honors and had the highest batting average on the team…As a junior, was named the Monroe County Player of the Year and District Pitcher of the Year after hitting .338 … was also named team MVP…Before being sidelined with Tommy John surgery his senior season, hit .442 with three home runs and 19 RBI as the designated hitter.
