Spartans Take Two at FIU Beach Bash
MIAMI, Fla. – The University of Tampa Beach Volleyball team traveled to South Florida as they opened up the first day of the FIU Beach Bash, hosted by Florida International University. The sandy Spartans faced off against Webber International University and Missouri State University.
DUAL 1
UT returned to the win column as they dominated the first match of the day against WIU. The Spartans would win all five matches and would also claim the exhibition match. Four of the five matches were won in two sets, with the four-spot winning in three sets.

The Spartans returned to the court for the second match of the day as they faced the Missouri State Bears. MSU entered the game with an undefeated record against non-ranked teams, but the Spartans were able to snap that streak as they took the match 5-0. The team of Erica Haslag and Tatiana Gutierrez improved their season record to 5-1.
