Nolan Brannon Named Valley League Player of the Week
HARRISONBURG, Va. - University of Tampa baseball player Nolan Brannon earned Valley League weekly honors as he was one of two players to be named Player of the Week for the summer league.
Brannon, a junior first baseman for New Market, played in five games, starting four contests for the Rebels last week. He hit .500, while leading the league with nine hits and also finished tied for the league lead with seven RBI. In addition, The University of Tampa product also scored two runs, walked once and stole a base as New Market went 3-2 last week to up their overall record to 7-6.
