Two Spartans Record Double-Doubles in Overtime Loss
TAMPA, Fla. - The University Tampa (5-3) men's basketball team fell to Dominican College (8-1) Wednesday night at the Bob Martinez Athletics Center.
The match-up marked the first meeting between the two teams. The Spartans and Chargers alternated leads throughout the game, making the contest so close, forcing overtime.
Tampa shot well during regulation but struggled in overtime. The Spartans were 1 -5 from the field, while the Chargers shot 4-5. Despite a balanced scoring effort, the game came down to role players, in which Dominican's reserves outscored UT's bench by 29 points.
