Montagnino, Bendert Post Impressive Rounds to Lead Spartans
DORAL, Fla. – The University of Tampa men's golf team had a pair of impressive rounds from Robert Montagnino and Hogan Bendert to finish seventh at the Miami Intercollegiate.

OTHER NOTABLES:
- Montagnino matched the school record with a second-round 65. The last Spartan to shoot a 65 was John Finster in 1988.
- In Tuesday's round, Bendert nearly shot a record as he came in at 66.
- The Spartan duo accounted for the top two individual rounds at the three-round tournament.
- Head coach Gary Hilton did not register any individuals.
- A total of eight teams competed.
- UT was joined by team champion Lynn, host Nova Southeastern (4th) and Palm Beach Atlantic (6th) from the Sunshine State Conference.
- Southern Wesleyan's Eric Shea was the individual medalist with a 201 (-9).
