No.1 Spartans Win Their Final Regular Season Home Game Against Lynn To Remain Undefeated
TAMPA, Fla. – The No. 1 ranked University of Tampa Spartans men's lacrosse team remains undefeated as they win their Senior Day matchup against Lynn.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
FIRST QUARTER
The Spartans would open the game with Harry Kilkowski connecting with Luke McAnaney in front of the goal three minutes into the quarter. Less than a minute later, Cole Willard would net his second goal as a Spartan building the lead. The Fighting Knights answered about two minutes later, cutting into the Spartan lead. Willard found the back of the net for the second time, with Colin White scoring minutes later, causing Lynn to call a timeout. The Spartan offense kept rolling into the second quarter. The Spartans scored as follows:

SECOND QUARTER
The second quarter began similarly to the first, with both teams playing well on each side of the ball. The Fighting Knights would open the scoring early in the quarter, keeping the Spartans on their toes. McAnaney found the back of the net for the second time in the game, but Lynn responded right away, keeping the goal difference at three. Lynn called their second timeout of the game after netting another goal. The Spartan offense found their rhythm halfway through the quarter, netting a total of five goals in the quarter. The Spartans went into the half with a five goal lead, behind White's four goal game. The Spartans scored as follows:

The third quarter opened with a battle between the two teams. Owen Miller would open the scoring for the second half, with an unassisted shot. The Fighting Knights were not going down easy, scoring back to back goals to cut the Spartan lead to three goals. Daniel Fitzpatrick netted bak to back goals to build the Spartan lead back to five goals. The Fighting Knights were forced to call a timeout after the Spartans gained an eight goal lead, behind White's fifth goal. The Spartans offense was too much for the Fighting Knights in this quarter. Fitzpatrick opened the scoring for the quarter, netting his third of the game to finish his hat trick. The Spartans would prove too much for the Fighting Knights' comeback efforts.
