About the Spartans: Tampa is 10-1 overall on the season and is undefeated in Sunshine State Conference play. The Spartan's most recent win came against Palm Beach Atlantic on Saturday, March 30th. UT dominated the Sailfish and won by a score of 22-8 extending Tampa's win streak to eight. Andrew Milani netted five goals which led all players in the game and caused two turnovers in the win. The Spartans will be on the road for just the third time this season on Wednesday and are 2-0 in away games to date. The last time Tampa faced Embry-Riddle was at Naimoli a year ago and the Spartans prevailed, 20-3. UT men's lacrosse hopes to extend its win streak to nine when they match up with ERAU on April 3.
About the Eagles: The Eagles are on a win streak of their own having won their last three games. ERAU's most recent win came on the road in Lakeland, where they knocked off No. 14 Florida Southern to improve to 6-3 on the season. The Eagles are undefeated in SSC matchups this season with wins over Florida Southern and Lynn. Head Coach John Jez is in his first season at Embry-Riddle and his squad boasts an impressive 4-1 record on home turf this season. The Eagles will look to Isaiah Hines, Pete Abbes, and Coleman Jacobs to be goal-scoring threats as all three have netted 20-plus goals in 2024.
