KANSAS CITY, Kans. - The University of Tampa men's soccer team is currently ranked 25th in the newest NSCAA/adidas Division II National Poll.
After beginning the season as number-14, the Spartans were not ranked in the week one and two polls. With a 4-0-1 record and coming off victories over Truman State and defending national champion Franklin Pierce, UT is now in the top 25 during the regular season for the first time since 2003.
The Spartans look to defend their ranking on Tuesday at Saint Leo. UT also has a Friday night matchup versus 18th-ranked West Florida its schedule.
"Rankings at this point mean nothing," says Adrian Bush. "This is an opinion poll and we are not concerned about rankings. We play everyone in the region at least one time. Winning games is what sorts it all out."
