Tampa Set to Entertain Regional Opponent Palm Beach Atlantic
TAMPA, Fla. -
The No. 24 University of Tampa (5-3-1) men's soccer team is set to welcome regional opponent Palm Beach Atlantic (6-1-2) Saturday for a 7 p.m. contest at Pepin Stadium.
UT is coming off a 1-0 conference loss at No.4 Saint Leo while PBA defeated Eckerd 3-0 on Tuesday.
Chris Campbell leads the Spartans with four goals on the season. Andrew Clare, Nikolai Hammer, and Monty Berrow have also contributed to the Tampa offense with two goals each.
Goalkeeper Zak Downes has tallied four shutouts in his first season with the Spartans while saving 47 shots.
Daniel Pena and Lucas Kuscevic lead the Sailfish with four goals apiece while Lucas DaSilva has also contributed to the offense with three.
Tampa is 9-3 in the all-time series with Palm Beach Atlantic as the Sailfish won the most recent matchup last season by a score of 3-1.
