LAKELAND, Fla. - The University of Tampa men's soccer team dropped a heartbreaking game 1-0 to Sunshine State Conference on the road at Florida Southern College on Saturday night.
The Mocs scored the lone goal of the match in the 38th-minute as Carl Spansk netted the game-winner on a set piece play from the left corner.
Despite winning the battle between the pipes recording six saves, the Spartans were unable to generate any offense. Goalkeeper Christian Knight posted a .854 save %.
