As a Sophomore: SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll...Recorded top times of: 50 Free – 21.71… 100 Free – 47.64… 200 Free – 1:49.52… 100 Breast – 1:00.87. Times were recorded at NSU Shark Invitational (12/16/11) & SSC Championships (2/15/12).

As a Freshman: Did not record any top times in first collegiate season.

High School: Attended Hinsdale Central High School, where he swam for coach Corky King…Freestyle alternate to Illinois High School State Team (2009)…Swam club for the Hinsdale Swim Club, where he was coached by Matt Rowe…Made sectional team for club team.

Personal: Won the volunteer of the Year award Ray Graham Association (2006), Was the Vice President of Hinsdale Junior Board (2009-2010), Volunteered for teens against violence (2006-2007), Volunteered for two years teaching disabled children to swim, Volunteered for Morris Service dogs (2004-2009)…Worked as a life guard and swim instructor for his home town team…Participated in 2009 bass fishing sectionals…Also is an avid water and snow skier…Son of Mark and Noel King…Has one sister, Abbey (16) and one brother, Evan (12).
