UT’s Blundell Claims Second Straight SSC Women’s Runner of the Week Award
WINTER PARK, Fla. - Tampa sophomore Chantalle Blundell has been recognized as the Sunshine State Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week presented by VALIC. This marks the second consecutive week Blundell has earned the award.
Blundell finished fifth overall at the Florida State Invitational on Friday, breaking her career-best time by nearly 30 seconds with a time of 18:20.71 in the 5K event. The Brush Prairie, Wash., native was the first of three Spartans to finish in the top-10. Tampa won the overall team finish with 40 points.
