Tampa Ends Season at SSC Championships
DADE CITY, Fla. - The University of Tampa women's golf team finished in eighth place at the 2013 Sunshine State Conference Championships, which was hosted by Saint Leo University at Lake Jovita Country Club.
Tampa shot a three-round score of 1,041, with rounds of 348, 337 and 356. Florida Southern won the SSC title after a playoff with Nova Southeastern. Both teams finished with a 909, which was five shots better than third place Lynn. Nova's Liliana Cammisa won the individual championship with a 223.
Kendra Bishop shot a 235 to finish 19th. Her second round 76 also marked the top round among all Spartans. Also golfing for UT were Brittany Bradshaw (255), Fatin Amin (264), Corrine Camp (289) and Margaret Rich (297).
