Spartans Wrap Up Fall Slate in Bahamas at White Sands Invite
PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas - The Univerity of Tampa women's golf team participated in the White Sands Invitational at the Ocean Club Golf Course in Paradise Island, Bahamas, from October 27 to 29.
The Spartans finished in 10th place in the team standings with a total score of 950 (+86) at the White Sands Invitational. The event featured strong competition, as UT was the lone NCAA Division II institution at the event.
Top Tampa Golfers
- Ana Maria Jimenez Rios: Led the Tampa team, finishing tied for 22nd with a total score of 229 (+13).
- Silvia Barnes: The freshman had a solid performance, securing the 42nd position with a total score of 239 (+23).
- Emilie Bjorge: Finished tied for 44th with a total score of 242 (+26).
- Ella Mason: Competed as an individual, where she secured the 46th position with a total score of 243 (+27).
- Chloe Burdon: Tied for 47th place with a total score of 244 (+28).
- Maxime Holletschek: Also tied for 47th place with a total score of 244 (+28).

This concludes the fall season, as the Spartans return to action for the spring season on February 4-6 at the World Golf Invitational in St. Augustine, Fla.
