No. 5 Spartans Set to Travel South to Play Fighting Knights
BOCA RATON, Fla. - Tampa hopes to remain undefeated in the all-time series versus Lynn.

Series History: Tampa and Lynn have squared off just three times and UT is 3-0 in the all-time series.
About the Spartans: Tampa is coming off a dominant win at home over ranked Florida Tech, 18-3. UT has allowed three goals or fewer four times this season and leads the Sunshine State Conference in goals against average (7.69). Tampa also ranks eighth in the nation in scoring defense this season having allowed just 100 goals over 13 games. Senior, Cece Colombo became the all-time leader in program history in draw controls versus FIT this past Saturday, with 306 surpassing the previous mark of 305 held by Claire Swanson. Colombo is also on the verge of becoming Tampa's all-time leader in assists. The North Carolina native needs six more assists to reach 96 career assists which would place her above Rachel Crawford who currently has 95. UT has won seven of its eight previous games and looks to extend its win streak to three straight.
About the Fighting Knights: Lynn boasts an impressive 6-1 record on home soil this season with its only loss coming against SSC foe, Rollins early on in the season. The Fighting Knights currently sit fourth in the SSC, two spots behind the Spartans. With a win, Lynn and Tampa will be level in terms of conference record. As a team, Lynn leads the SSC in goals per game. The Fighting Knights have tallied 231 goals thus far and average 17.77 goals per game. Kristyn Johnson is second in the SSC in goals per game (4.15) and has totaled 54 goals thus far.
