No. 5 Spartans Set To Conclude Regular Season At Home Against No. 15 Eagles
TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa Women's Lacrosse team hope to continue their winning momentum as they will conclude their regular season on home soil.

The Spartans recently swept the Sunshine State Conference weekly awards as Sophi Wrisk and Alex Walling were selected as the Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively. Tampa continues to lead the conference in saves percentage (0.524) and goals against average (7.98) while ranked ninth in the nation for scoring defense (8.00). The Spartans also have individual national rankings as Cece Colombo is ranked 13th for draw controls per game at 6.80 while sister Gracie Colombo shares the 13th spot for free position percentage at 0.667. With a win, Tampa could maintain the second spot in the conference standings with a 6-1 record in the SSC and 13-3 overall.
About the Eagles: Embry-Riddle has an impressive on the road record at 7-1 with their only loss coming from Lynn, an opponent Tampa defeated in overtime.
