Tampa Participates in Day One of Dad Vail

PHILADELPHIA - The University of Tampa rowing team completed day one at the Dad Vail Regatta, the most prestigious regatta in college rowing.

Participating in the Women's Double was Erin Hanson and Hanna Vernetti, with the duo moving on to A final. In the Women's Single, Cassie Bricker moved to the A final.

Tampa's Lightweight Varsity Four of Liv Nikopoulos, Sienna Gutierrez, Grace McGhee, Brooke Rogers and Marissa Henderson moved to the B final.

In the Heavyweight Four, the team of Erin Winslow, Sam Stewart, Bridget Maxwell, Kiara Williams and Abbey Grau advanced to the C final.

The Novice Four of Reagan Bieze, Kayla Bell, Sarah Manno, Savannah Martin and Lauren Blake also moved to the C final.

The final day of the Dad Vail is slated for Saturday in Philadelphia.
