Courtney Peffley Earns Academic Honors from NSCAA
KANSAS CITY, Kan. - University of Tampa women's soccer player Courtney Peffley continues to rack up academic awards as the senior has earned second-team scholar all-region honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
Peffley, a senior from Rheems, Pa., carries a 3.90 GPA while majoring in marketing. She is also a standout performer on the field as a member of both the all-Sunshine State Conference and NCAA South Region team. In 2012, she had seven goals and a team-leading 12 assists while starting all 23 matches.
She is no stranger to academic success, being a three-time Capital One Academic All-District performer and also becoming the first player in Program to earn Academic All-America honors. She has also been named to the SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll each year at UT, including being recognized for a perfect 4.0 GPA in the fall of her junior year.
