Hostage Named to D2CCA All-South Region First Team
JACKSON, Tenn. – The 2021 Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) Women's Soccer All-South Region Teams were announced Tuesday, November 23. The region's sports information directors voted on the teams.
Katherine Hostage earned a spot on the All-South Region first team after netting nine goals, four being game-winners against Tusculum, Florida Southern, Saint Leo, and Rollins, and tallying five assists, totaling 23 points on the season. Her strong performance this season also earned her the title of Sunshine State Conference Player of the Year.
The 13 first-team honorees will now advance to the national ballot, eligible for D2CCA All- America honors. The announcement of the All-America teams will be on December 7.
