Kimmy Edgeworth joined the University of Tampa women's soccer program prior to the 2023 season as an assistant coach.

Edgeworth most recently served as a women's soccer graduate assistant at Columbus State University for the 2022 season. Under her guidance, the team achieved a regular-season conference championship and reached the final four. Additionally, she conducted film breakdowns, led technical sessions, and assisted with campus tours for recruits.

Kimberly's soccer journey began at McIntosh High School, where she quickly made her mark as a standout player. Over her four years on the varsity team, she earned numerous accolades, including All-County honors and contributing to two state championship victories.

Her playing career continued at Columbus State University, where she not only shined on the soccer field but also displayed her versatility by playing college basketball. She was named the Peach Belt Conference SAAC Representative, showcasing her leadership qualities and dedication to her teams. Edgeworth earned the title of being the first player in CSU history to score four goals in a match.

Upon graduation, she turned her attention to coaching, and her impact was immediate. Her journey in coaching began at Soccer Tots, where she honed her skills as a staff coach. She progressed from instructing skills and tactics to coordinating sessions and addressing parent and player concerns. Kimberly's passion for player development was evident in her role at Soccer Camps, where she designed tailored sessions to suit each individual player's needs.

Her commitment to nurturing young talent was further demonstrated at the Columbus Youth Soccer Club, where she excelled as a head coach for the U8 boys' team. Her emphasis on tactical session planning and open communication with parents created a nurturing and engaging environment for both players and families.

As Kimberly's coaching prowess continued to grow, she embraced mentorship and assistant roles at various levels. At Harris County Soccer, she helped design sessions for player development, focusing on technical skills and tactical awareness. Her influence also extended to Concord Fire South, where she meticulously followed U.S. Soccer Learning Center guidelines to create impactful U11 sessions.

Beyond soccer, Kimberly's commitment to holistic athlete development is evident in her work as a speed performance coach at Stark Strong Performance. Through one-on-one sessions, she helps athletes enhance their speed, prevent injuries, and develop a winning mindset. In her role in physical education, she uses diverse teaching styles to engage students of different ages and backgrounds, demonstrating her adaptability and commitment to education.
