UT Swimmers Head into Final Day of Nationals in Contention
COLUMBIA, Mo. - With one day to go, both the University of Tampa men's and women's swimming teams are challenging for top-10 finishes at the 2008 NCAA II Swimming & Diving Championships.
The Spartan men are currently in 11th place with a total of 114 points. Drury University remains the overall leader at 370. On the women's side, UT is 17th overall as Drury is the pacesetter at 351.
On Day Three, Chris O'Linger captured a second place finish in the 500 Free with a time of 4:25.84. Mike Lewis also earned a top three finish with a third place showing in the 200 Fly following a time of 1:49.42.
