Hana van Loock Takes Home Weekly SSC Honors
Freshman earns first Swimmer of the Week award for Spartans.
MELBOURNE, Fla. - Following an impressive performance against nationally-ranked Florida Southern College, the University of Tampa's Hana van Loock was named the Sunshine State Conference Swimmer of the Week.
van Loock led the University of Tampa women past nationally-ranked Florida Southern is first road meet of the season. The German part the 200 Medley Relay and 200 Free Relay which posted winning times of 1:47.55 and 1:37.00, respectively. van Loock also took two individual races, winning the 100 Back in 58.37 and the 100 Free in 52.63.
Athletes of the Week are chosen from a pool of nominees for their performances during the week of October 23 - 29, 2017. Athletes are nominated by Sports Information Directors of member institutions.
