Embry-Riddle Hands Tampa 7-2 Loss
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The University of Tampa (2-5) tennis team fell by a score of 7-2 to Embry-Riddle (5-3). ERAU is currently ranked No. 4 in the nation in the NAIA ranks.
Briana Ryan was a part of both winning matches for the Spartans, beginning with an 8-6 doubles triumph with partner Ally Wooten at the number three spot. Ryan also won at number five singles by a score of 6-2, 6-3.
UT is back in action on Saturday at Florida Tech in a Sunshine State Conference meeting with the Panthers. The match is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. in Melbourne.
