As a Senior: Finished season with a 8-10 record in singles play…Won two matches against ranked opponents No.45 Chestnut Hill(3/03) and No.44 Indiana, Pa. (3/20) …Finished 11-8 in the one position in doubles play…Notched victories over ranked opponents No.21 Nova Southeastern (2/15), No.8 Saint Leo (2/24) , No.45 Chestnut Hill (3/03) , No.50 Wayne State (3/09), No.44 Indiana, Pa. (3/20), and No.38 Palm Beach Atlantic(3/22). Won match in SSC tournament against No.5 Lynn (4/24).

As a Junior:  Finished the season with a singles record of 18-4 and doubles record of 17-6 with Meg Wladimirski…Enjoyed a national ranking in doubles…Concluded the season as No. 24 in the nation with doubles partner Meg Wladimirski...Recorded 10 straight singles wins…Defeated No. 4 Lynn in three sets (2/23)…Logged victories versus nationally ranked SSC opponents Florida Tech (2/15) and Rollins (2/20)…Registered 10 consecutive doubles wins with Meg Wladimirski defeating No. 12 Saint Leo (2/27)…Notched singles and doubles victories in the SSC Tournament versus No. 20 Florida Tech (4/19) and No. 21 Nova Southeastern (4/20)...Was a semifinalist at the UF Summer ITA Doubles Tournament with Meg Wladimirski as the duo fell to University of Miami.

As a Sophomore: SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll…Defeated Eckerd twice (3/14 & 4/12)… Recorded a 10-8 record in doubles matches… Won four consecutive doubles matches (2/21-3/20).

As a Freshman: Recorded her first collegiate singles win against Eckerd (4/7) in straight sets…Both her doubles wins came against nationally ranked Nova Southeastern (2/20 and 4/15)…Played five matches at number-one singles spot, 10 at number-one doubles…First collegiate match was against Embry-Riddle (2/3).

High School: Went to St. Albans High School for Girls and was coached by Sarah Bracey…Played on a club team at Brookman Park for Richard Enderby and Jamie Fallis…Team captain in 2009…Was runner up in the Cambridge Open…Received a full tennis color for tennis achievement and participant in 2008…Most memorable athletic achievement was advancing to the national high school finals in 2008 and winning the South of Scotland Championships in 2009 and 2010.

Personal: In summer of 2011, won the South of Scotland championships in ladies division...Also reached third round of British Tour...Had a national ranking of 126...Visits a nursery and a residential care home once a week to help the staff and talk to the residents…Recipient of the Year Prize Award for commitment and achievement in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010…Chose UT because of the campus, the weather and the tennis program…Full name is Lauren Christina Hewett...Daughter of Andrew and Valerie Hewett…Has a younger brother, Guy…Environmental science major..Birthdate: 7/2/1992.
