#40 Tampa Takes Second Straight Victory
TAMPA, Fla. - The No. 40 University of Tampa (4-7) tennis team won its second consecutive match with a 7-2 victory over visiting Bentley University (5-7).
The Spartans took two of the three doubles matches, with the number-one and three teams each winning. The number-one team of Leslie Raymond and Kathleen Beckham earned an 8-4 win as the three team of Briana Ryan and Becky Ewing won 8-0.
In singles, UT claimed five of the six matches with the exception of the number-five match. Raymond, Megan Mancini and Beckham each won from the top of UT's lineup as Ryan won at number-four and Ewing at six.
Tampa returns to action on Tuesday when it hosts St. Olaf College at 3 p.m.
