Sharks Take SSC Contest Over Spartans
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The No. 22 University of Tampa (1-2, 0-2 SSC) tennis team fell by a score of 7-2 against No. 21 Nova Southeastern University (2-2, 2-1 SSC) on Saturday at the NSU Tennis Complex.
The No. 22 doubles team of Lauren Hewett and Meg Wladimirski were victorious for Tampa, winning by a score of 8-3.
In singles, Kelsey Matthews won the number five match by a score of 5-7, 6-2, 10-8.
The Spartans face another tough SSC test on Sunday, as they meet No. 3 Barry University in Miami Shores for a 10 a.m., match.
