KINGSVILLE, Texas – In its second of three matches in a spring break tour of the Lone Star state, the University of Tampa tennis team defeated Texas A&M University-Kingsville.

- Tampa took all three doubles contests.
- The Spartans then triumphed in five of six singles events.
- Caroline Lozo and Corbin Dorsey won 8-5 on the number-one doubles court.
- In two doubles, Maddie Stephens and Vanina Iordanova won 8-5.
- An 8-6 Spartan win was achieved in three doubles from Lilley Nice and Emily Hewland.
- Lozo took a three-set victory in number-one doubles.
- UT had straight-set wins from Stephens and Iordanova at the two and three singles events.
- Nice and Dorsey each won in three sets in four and five singles.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- Nice and Dorsey each registered their 10th singles wins.

The Spartans conclude the spring break trip on Thursday at No. 19 Tarleton State University at noon.
