Mueller Earns Second SSC Setter of the Week Honors
MELBOURNE, Fla. – University of Tampa's senior Setter Sammy Mueller has been named Sunshine State Conference Setter of the Week. This is the second time this season she has earned player of the week honors and the fourth time in her career.
Sammy Mueller earns the honors after leading Tampa to a 2-0 week, as they defeated Embry-Riddle and Florida Tech.
In the game against Embry-Riddle, Mueller would tie a career-high as she would collect 61 assists for the game. She would also add 18 digs to collect a double-double for the game. On senior day against Florida Tech, Mueller would dish out another 37 assists.
Mueller and the rest of the Spartans will wrap up the regular season this Saturday, as they face the Rollins College Tars in Winter Park. The game is set to begin at 4:00 p.m.
